Thank goodness it’s almost February, am I right?! I feel like January took almost the entire year to pass by and it seems like Christmas was ages ago. Haha, I seriously can’t believe it was only a month ago though.
With the month of February literally right around the corner, I thought this would be the perfect time for me to start sharing with you girls some of my Valentines day outfit favorites right now.
There is so much controversy on about Valentine’s day whether it’s a “holiday” or not, and the fact that you should show someone you love them every single day of the year. I for one am someone who LOVES Valentines day whether I am in a relationship or not. I love me some good chocolate and candy, I love all the cute decor in the stores, and last but not least… Pink is by far my favorite color haha.
Some people don’t always get to show the person they care about the love the deserve every day due to working too much, long distance, or other complications. Life moves too fast sometimes, and there are plenty of times where Nick and I don’t spend as much time together as we would like either.
I absolutely love how Valentines day is one special day set aside of each year to really plan and spend time with someone special and be in their presence to finally get to show each other the love you might not be able to every day.

The dress I’m wearing from my Vday picks is from Express, and I specifically ordered it for the holiday. Plus, it’s such an easy thing to wear anywhere even when it’s not the holiday! It’s currently on major sale right now and comes to $25 in cart and still available in a few colors!! Y’all… it’s even chenille too… I can’t even begin to tell you how warm and comfy this is. I think it’s so cute for a lunch date, or dressing up and going out for an evening dinner.
I paired it with over the knee boots to keep myself slightly warmer and added a small layering necklace for some interest. Really itching for that bright, Spring weather, but it seems like Winter just doesn’t want to stop right now.
