Hey y’all! It’s been quite a bit since my last blog post on here, but in 2020 one of my goals for myself is to really work more on my blog again and less on Instagram. I wanted to come on to share and go into detail about some of my favorite pieces and my most worn items in 2019. Since I loved them so much, I thought you girls might too! I narrowed the list down to 10 items, and can’t wait to share!
1. SPANX FAUX FUR LEATHER LEGGINGS
The Godsend of all leggings! This list of my most worn items isn’t really in order because I’m not sure what I truly did wear in order the most, except THESE. I cannot talk about these leggings enough. Y’all are probably so sick of hearing about them! I have this Spanx basic pair which are the under $100 faux leather leggings. They are very tight, flattering, and suck in your tummy all at the same time. There is also no seam at the crotch which means no cameltoe!! They are super comfortable and can be dressed up or dressed down because of their sheen. They are a bit of a splurge, but these were also apart of my best selling list last year, and are worth the price because of the quality. I have gotten way more than $98 worth of wears out of them.
My absolute favorite sandal to date! I debated on getting them for like 8 months before seeing they were on sale and snagging them. They are $198 regular price but they are so worth it! Are you noticing a trend that some of my most worn items might be pricy, but are staple pieces that go with anything? It’s OKAY to splurge on things like that! Especially because you will wear them more than you think! You will get so much use out of staple pieces. Anyways, they are made from real leather, and go with any outfit weather you want to dress it up a bit like I did, or wear them with leggings and a sweatshirt. I highly recommend investing in the patent leather styles though. They hold up a bit better than the regular leather. They also run small, so make sure to size up 1/2 or you will regret it!
3. SAM EDELMAN WHITE LEATHER MULES
Surprisingly I wore these more than I thought I would. They ended up being super comfortable and went with almost any outfit I wore! I think they had a fun feminine flare to any outfit, and are a great spring/summer shoe. Such a steal because they are on sale for just under $60! Runs true to size!
I know I didn’t really get a good shot in this red sweater, but I promise you I wore the heck out of it! This was one of my last and most recent purchases of 2019, but you best believe it is comfy, warm and a great length for leggings! It has pretty cable knit detail, and can be worn so many ways. Currently on sale for $20! I personally think it runs large so I sized down one size to a small.
Okay… This may have been my 2nd most worn item of the year and I only received it towards the end of 2019 in October. This amazing popcorn cardigan from Inspired Boutique is such a good Barefoot Dreams dupe! It matches with anything, a great neutral, warm and thick, and extremely soft! I think my favorite thing about it is how I constantly was able to wear it around the house in my sweatpants and a tank top, or dress it up with booties and a blouse. Such a versatile piece, and oh so cozy!
One of my favorite pieces I wore throughout the entire summer! This soft jersey romper comes in a ton of different prints and colors, and is just so freaking comfortable! It was such an easy piece for me to put on no matter where I was going. I especially loved it for running errands when I still felt like looking cute. It runs true to size, and if I highly recommend. The reviews are amazing!
An oldie, but a goodie! This thermal was worn a ton by myself towards the beginning of 2019 in the winter months. This is such a great piece because it can be worn all year round as well as in the spring/summer with shorts because that would be so cute too! The thermal comes in a ton of colors, super slouchy and is a great versatile piece to add to your wardrobe. It’s extremely soft, and currently on sale!
I actually ended up wearing these the most to my full time job at Target because I think they personally look awesome with red, and it made my attire a tad more fun. But in all honesty, these shoes truly do go with a lot of pieces, and add fun flare to any outfit! I get a ton of compliments when I wear them. Another plus is that they are extremely comfortable and affordable for under $35. The heel height i only about 1 1/2 inches, and I can wear them all day!
The perfect layering essential for any outfit, and probably one of the pieces I shared the most on stories throughout the year. I personally feel like everyone needs to cami in their closet. It’s affordable, cute and perfect to layer with cardigans, or wear it by it’s self with jeans, a skirt or paperbag pants!
10. MADEWELL COLORBLOCK CARDIGAN
Unfortunately the actual cardigan by Madewell was an exclusive at Nordstrom just for the sale, and is no longer available… However, there is an identical dupe available from Amazon that comes with prime shipping! I love how fun and girly the colors are, and how it adds up a pop of color to an outfit, yet brightens it up at the same time. It is very soft, stretchy, and runs true to size! The Amazon reviews are awesome, and I know a ton of bloggers who have this dupe as well and love it!
