I recently became a mom in November 2022. I’ve always been a very stylish person and everyone had always told me how cute my clothes are, and then when I became a stay at home mom, it became a little harder to keep up with that.
One way I feel so much better about myself being a stay at home mom is getting myself dressed everyday. That doesn’t necessarily mean putting on jeans and a nice top, but just really just getting out of my pajamas and putting on some cute sweatpants and a sweatshirt that look cohesive. Now that it’s Spring, I feel that it’s so much easier to come up with cute outfit ideas as a busy mom. With warmer weather, I have more motivation to get dressed, and can easily wear simple things like a dress and still feel comfortable and good.

Where Can Moms Shop For Cute Clothes and Outfits?
I LIVE for a good comfy outfit that’s also cute. Here are my top 10 favorite places to buy cute mom clothes in no particular order:
10. Free People

If you’re a mom that is looking for clothes that are comfortable, versatile and timeless, you might want to take a look at Free People. I always find that they have the best sweaters, thermals tees, and comfy dresses. I specifically get most of my cozy winter items from here, but they have a great assortment of summer dresses, jumpsuits, tanks and tees for Spring and Summer. Also can’t forget the CUTEST pajamas/intimates for lounging. It doesn’t always have to be expensive! There are tons of great staple pieces ranging from $50-$80 that will last for years to come. They have a wonderful sale section as well.
9. Anthropologie

At a bit of a higher price point, Anthropologie has some amazing, unique options that also end up staying in my closet for years. I personally get items from here all year round (especially accessories!), but for the summer I love a good comfy jumpsuit or dress option. Anthropologie doesn’t have to be expensive either if you don’t want it to be. I typically always shop from the sale section, and usually once a month they offer an extra 40% off clearance at checkout. For cute clothing items, I like to look through their soft pants, soft shorts, dresses and tops section.
8. Aerie/AE

A more affordable option, but similar vibe to Free People winter clothing is Aerie. They would be one of the best places for cute outfits for moms. I love that everything is comfy, cozy, and they cater to all shapes and sizes specifically. They are a very relaxed brand and offer many comfy, oversized pieces, full coverage swimwear, as well as great on-the-go athleisure for running errands. They always are running great sales!
7. Old Navy
Old Navy is one of those places that has been killing it with the trends! They are always running crazy good deals, have such a wide variety of clothing for the family, and you can almost always find one somewhere nearby. If you’re definitely looking to be the fashion forward mom, this might be the place for you. If you haven’t, check out their baby and toddler clothes! 6. Target

One of the most affordable options on this list is Target. Target is one of those places that just about has clothes for every style. Including moms! They have a wide variety of sizes, brands, and personal fashion for moms. I personally think they are also the best option for a good basic like these ribbed tanks I wear all summer long! I also love graphic tees, loungewear, sweaters and dresses.
5. Altar’d State

Probably not a place people thinking of shopping at for cute and comfy mom clothes is Altar’d State. But I have to say, some of my favorite staple pieces in my wardrobe have come from their dresses and tees. My black gauze button up is from there, but I could not find it on their website. I did link a similar one above. I always love a good basic with a twist, and find their pieces similar to Free People, but with a little bit less of a price tag. They are a Christian based retailer, and percentage of your purchase goes to local charities such as CancerFree KIDs.
4. Nordstrom

Nordstrom is another one of my favorite places when hunting for cute clothing stores for moms. They are one retailer that just has so many brands under one website. They have everything from designer to affordable basics and you can get almost everything you want in one order. I personally love looking for expensive brands on sale. (like Free People sale!) If you’re looking for cute outfits for moms, you’ll definitely be stylish in anything from Nordstrom.
3. Abercrombie

You’re probably shocked to see this one on the list as cute store moms would wear and buy clothes from, but Abercrombie has majorly rebranded over the years from marketing from teens to women between 20-40. Their new vibe has a major relaxed look, and they carry tons of basics with a twist. I love all of their bodysuits to wear with anything such as comfy shorts, to soft pants when I’m just lounging around the house or running errands. Their loungewear section is also amazing from graphic tees, graphic sweatshirts, comfy joggers and sweatshorts. Of course they don’t only carry relaxed fit clothing, but still have a great arrangement for moms as well. (minus cropped things).
2. H&M

Another place you may be surprised to see on this list is H&M. I used to shop here a lot as a teen and in college, but I also think their style has a changed a bit over the years. They have a large assortment of business wear, casual dressy clothes, but also a lot of comfy items as well. I started shopping here again at the end of 2022, and really loved a lot of the oversized sweaters I was ordering from here as a mom. They were cute, but could also be dressed up or dressed down. But also…. have you SEEN their baby clothes?! This is one of my favorite places to shop for my son!

Last, but certainly not least, I have to included Amazon as one of the most all inclusive places to buy cute clothes for moms. Almost anything you can think of is on Amazon’s website.
