Jumpsuits by far are one of my favorite items to wear all year round, especially in the summer. I typically always go for a girly looking jumpsuit, but now that I’m a stay at home mom, comfy for me is key. I kept seeing the Free People Hot Shot Onesie all over the internet and just did not understand why it was so popular. I felt as though if I would try it on I would probably look like an oversized balloon or something along those lines. I was a bit nervous to splurge on the $70 price tag, but when I saw an identical looking hot shot onesie dupe for less on Amazon, I figured why the heck not?! I would try it, and simply return it with ease if I did not like it. I love me some good Free People dupes! COMFIEST OUTFIT – HOT SHOT ONESIE FOR LESS

The day it came to my door I tried it on and fell in love! I ended up loving this casual jumpsuit so much that I ordered the real Free People version because I decided it would be worth the splurge and I wanted to compare the two. So in this post, that’s exactly what I’m doing.

Overall, I feel as though the Amazon jumpsuit is comfier in my opinion. I sized up in this one to get the oversized look of the FP version. I feel as thought the material is softer and lighter weight. Overall, I do like the Free People jumpsuit because I think it has a better, looser, fit, so I guess it just depends on what you’re looking for. I reccommend sizing down one in Free People, because otherwise it will be too oversized. Both pant legs are cuffable, both have a zipper on the back up by the neck, and large pockets.

One of my favorite pieces to layer underneath is the Free People Happiness Runs Crop Top. It works as both a bralette or tank top. I put a denim jacket over it for some Spring-y vibes and sneakers to still keep my toes warm.
